These types of threads will include private interviews with the editors that will be competing in FMVC's "La Final"
Arguden Interview
Interviewer: Hello Arguden! How's your day been?
Arguden: Not bad, how bout you?
Interviewer:Not bad as well. Are you looking forward to the competition?
Arguden: Of course I am! It's the "La Final", first ever FMVC will be crowned! Robert Paulson Memorial Tournament, tag team matches! I'm sure it will be an amazing competition
Interviewer: How do you feel going to the Robert Paulson Final? What do you think about your opponents?
Arguden: I'm glad to be here, it's an amazing feeling to be honest. And I'm facing some tough guys you know, it will be a hard one
Interviewer: What do you think about the other matches on the card? Is there a specific match that you're interested in?
Arguden: I mean the match card is absolutely wonderful and I can say that I'm looking forward to all of them. But especially I am interested in "PK vs sarcastic" because it's the championship match after all, these two worked so hard to get here and it will be a hard choice to pick a winner probably.
Interviewer: Many are considering the idea that the winner of the tourney will be P1. How do you feel about that idea?
Arguden: Instead of replying to them I'm just trying to concentrate on the match so that I can prove everyone wrong hopefully.
Interviewer: I'm sure you will!
Can you tell us when you first started editing? What inspired you? Who inspired you?
Arguden: I started editing in 2015 I guess. But for wrestling, I started in June 2017 and TheHLSociety inspired me a lot. They were like my idols and they will always be!
Interviewer: You're a pretty young editor who's come far really quick. What are some of the things you would tell someone who wants to start editing?
Arguden: Well, for me the most important thing is motivation, I stopped doing videos for like 2-3 times and it's just something normal. So don't give up so easy, just work hard so that you can be proud of yourself.
Interviewer: Do you have any hobbies?
Arguden: Wrestling and editing of course, apart from that I love soccer, I don't know if this is a hobby but going to the gym and some other stuff.
Interviewer: Is there anything besides wrestling that you like to watch?
Arguden: Nope.
Interviewer: Is there anyone in Fight Club or outside of Fight Club that you would like to compete against?
Arguden: I wouldn't mind facing Soul again at all. To be honest I don't think that I deserved to win last time because I did that video in only 3 days.
Interviewer: How long do you think you'll continue editing?
Arguden: I really don't know. It's my hobby after all, as long as I don't get tired of it I'll continue hopefully
Interviewer: Do you think you'll win your match? If you do win, how will you celebrate?
Arguden: I really can't say that I'll win, but I'll try my best to. And if I do, I will celebrate with my friends who are also highlighters.
Interviewer: That's really nice!
Alrighty! Thank you so much Arguden for doing the interview! Anything else you want to say? Anything you want to plug in?
Arguden: Thanks for having me!
I'm gonna BURN IT DOWN.
P1's Interview
Interviewer: Hey P1! How's your day been?
P1: Pretty good so far.
Interviewer: Are you excited for "La final"? What are your thoughts on the card?
P1: Yeah, I'm really excited. The card is the best since the beginning of the FMVC in my opinion. Can't wait to see everyone's work.
Interviewer: Any match that you're really looking forward too?
P1: Can't really pick one match, pretty much all of the editors are awesome.
Interviewer: Is there any editor in Fight Club or outside of FC that you would like to be up against?
P1: If I have to choose one, it would definitely be you. I enjoy your work for a long time and you are one of the best in my opinion. So, it would be a dream match for me.
Interviewer: It would be a dream match for me too! How do you feel about your match? Are you nervous? What are your thoughts about your competitors?
P1: I'm very excited. Arguden is a really talented editor and I think he'll bring us another awesome video. Headcheese is also very talented and innovative, can't wait to see what does he bring to the table. Anyway, I'll do my best and I'm pretty confident I'm gonna win.
Interviewer: Your probably the favorite going into this match. And your mainly seen as one of the best in this board. What are some tips that you can give to young editors?
P1: Always try to be creative and innovative, try to make something new. And most importantly, have fun doing it!
Interviewer: How long have you been editing? Why did you start editing? Who inspired you?
P1: I've been editing Call of Duty fragmovies since 2012, long before I got into wrestling edits. I started doing wrestling edits in 2017, and that's when I really started improving and learning some new things. I mainly started editing wrestling out of sheer boredom to be honest, but my love for pro-wrestling was also a big factor. My main inspirations were WNB, World Wrestling Highlights and you.
Interviewer: Would you say that you're a call of duty fan? Will we ever see another COD montage from you?
P1: I used to be a big CoD fan, but not anymore. I used to play a lot, especially multiplayer with my friends. But yeah, I suddenly lost all interest, mainly because the older versions like 2 and 4 practically died and those were my favorites. As for the montage, for now the answer is no, but never say never.
Interviewer: How long do you think you'll continue to edit?
P1: I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. It's one of the things I truly love and I'll do it as long as I can.
Interviewer: What are some of your hobbies?
P1: Editing and watching wrestling are my main hobbies nowadays. I watch a movie here and there and I used to watch a lot of anime but I lost interest. Anyway, there is so much good wrestling nowadays that I can hardly keep up hahah.
Interviewer: What is your goal in life? What do you want to be in the future?
P1: I want to become a successful architect like my father. I tried it and I really like the job. If I had lived somewhere else, I would've most likely wanted to be a wrestler but in my country wrestling doesn't exist.
Interviewer: How did you find out about wrestling?
P1: The TV channel in my country started broadcasting WWE in 2009 and I started watching it. Had a couple of pauses, but the love remained the same.
Interviewer: If you were to win the Robert Paulson Final, how will you celebrate?
P1: Will probably drop myself on the head like Naito and Ibushi hahah.
Interviewer: Hahaha. Perfect way to celebrate!
Can you give us a hint of what your video will be about?
P1: "NJPW is so boring right now, they need to get a partnership with AEW if they want me to keep watching"
Interviewer: Well, thanks for willing to do the interview! Is there anything else you want to say or plug in?
P1: Nothing really. Good luck to all the competitors and thanks for having me!
