PK: First of all, this was a pretty great video. Your editing was good as usual, I really liked how you used a chill song for a brutal match because it worked pretty well in my opinion. The effects were a bit random and overused at some parts, but it's not a huge deal for me because the whole video was pretty amazing. Awesome stuff!
pain: I really dig the vibe of this video. It was pretty creative and well-edited. I really don't know what to add about your editing because I felt like the idea stands out more than the editing. I love cinematic highlights and you did a pretty good job.

PK: I liked the song and I liked the effects athroughout the entire video and it went well with the match. One of the best edits I've seen this year. Phenomenal work.
Pain: I liked the song and the video was pretty good. It was really good and I enjoyed it.

Last fall: "the final shot"
PK: I just saw your video and I was surprised that you chose that great fight, a good edit but I didn't like the length very much, it was a bit long but with your editing it is compensated
Pain: I love that you have used 3 songs from BMTH, this video was a great closure to this trilogy, this was a great fight, PK gave you everything but you woke up and took the last shot to win
My vote is for Pain, a very good fight, my rating for this "3 stages of hell" is 4.75

Two edits involving Finn Balor so there's already a thumbs up. PK: Nice effects and match choice. I liked those fade transitions but at times they were a bit much. It was also a bit long and some parts of the match could have easily been cut out. But your editing highlighted one of the best NXT fights of this year so great job! Pain: BMTH are a good band but i didn't like this song, still your trilogy was well panned out. I would recommend altering the pacing, it may be difficult with a song that is a bit monotone but i felt it was too slow too often at times. Still it took me back to 2015 and both of you should be proud of your work, I know finn balor would be

Woooooooo final match!
Pain: I guess you chose this match because this was his return to Japan. I guess you were going for that dramatic vibe but idk, nothing really worked. Pace of the edit didn't go with the song, there was just that huge disconnect between song and edit and I really couldn't feel it. I don't think that I can talk much about sync here because song had no lyrics and there wasn't really anything to sync here. Overall it was a solid highlight but really didn't go along with a song.
PK: Now this is an intense build up to a match! I liked that film overlay, it was quite fitting with the song. Pace of edit was also on point when you look how it was mixed with the song and overlay honestly, slow motions when song slows down just added to the emotional part of the edit. This edit also had those freezeframes and they looked so nice here here, really good use them! The only thing that IMO could have made thos even better is addition of commentary, song felt kinda like a background thing because it just had one tone without special chorus or dramatic changes so commentary could have made the edit even better. When song went to instrumental and CC changed to brownish color was my favorite section of the video, just the way it was edited with gentle flashes made it feel like a fight from older movies and it had such a charming look! This was like previous videos, calm and really sweet highlight. Awesome work PK!
Thank you so much guys again for making 3 videos for this event each and making this dream match happen! I appreciate it a lot and I am sure that our fellow competitors enjoyed it as much as I did!

PK: I was really surprised and excited that you made this highlight as Kyle is one of my favorite fighters and his fight with Balor was just amazing, just like your video, this felt like something more euphoric than the previous ones although they still had that. relaxed essence of the melodies you use regularly. I loved the final minutes and as you edited it that adrenaline kicked in, the WWE camera focuses added to your edit culminated in something very cinematic but very different at the same time, the color tone was very pretty, great job PK, me I realized the effort and quality in your videos considering that you made them in a short time.
Pain: It feels very repetitive to say it again but I don't notice you made an effort for this match, the clips are strangely placed, they don't go much with the background song and it seems like the only thing you wanted to do was finish the video as soon as possible, I am not going to focus so much on the video as there is not much to say and I will focus on something very important that you should know and take into account, if you are going to criticize and say bad things about the videos of other editors, First, focus on that yours are up to par, you can improve a lot and change that attitude you have towards others. You have potential but you are not taking advantage of it

PK: In my humble opinion, you really WENT HARD on this competition. If this is your last time editing, well not gonna lie, that's sad because it's always important to have people like you around here and I think you were a huge add up to the card handing out 3 damn good videos. Video wise, well.... I simply loved it. I think this was IMO your absolutely finest work I've seen from you. I admire how your color correction feels so nice and at the same time it's something I would never go for, not my thing. But doesn't take away the fact it looks beautiful to look at. I think your clip transition here felt so organic and nice to look at I simply was sooooooo in awe. I liked the freeze freames with red CC, looked very fitting IMO. And honestly you really nailed the the film damage/ grainy look, it looked super aesthetic. One thing I am on and off is that shake, because while I thought the idea was great and it's honestly I didn't even come up and one I will do that for sure, I think the execution of it needed some work, maybe you could've animated the effect with a bigger number motion blur and frequency or some cropping shake, but other than that, really great stuff. Oh and also your flashes were so beautiful.
Pain: Well, I won't have much to say about this. I really understand the idea of Balor being in Japan, and it kinda hits after his NJPW run, but the editing IMO here was... let's say, really nothing I think like Argi said, the idea itself stands out way more than the editing, and you need to give better execution. The fact this had no voiceovers, no real musicality to it, doesn't really do anything for me, flow wise. And the clips are just there, it's like a normal highlight, but an even more monotone one. Monotony is not bad sometimes, but here it didn't favor you. And to be honest, you really need to work on a lot of things editing wise. Your CC choices are so badly thought out and I never understand exactly what you are going for. That's about it I guess.

PK: I loved the match choice and I loved the song choice. Those two go really well together and you edited to them beautifully. The biggest feature of the video is pacing in my opinion, you nailed every second of it and it felt like song and edited match are naturally put together. Film overlay looks cool and it fits the vibe and the song you chose. If I have to have a nitpick (and it's a nitpick of a nitpick), it would be lack of the sound of live commentary, I feel it would elevate the video even more. Anyway, if you are really leaving, then you sir left with a bang. Good luck in whatever you wanna do in the future, you will be missed.
pain: I was wondering what will you do next since Taguchi match was Devitt/Balor's last New Japan match, and you did this match and it made a lot of sense. The best thing about the video is the idea, but I really think it had a lot more potential and a lot better could've been done. The song itself gives away that epic feeling, but if you don't include anything to jazz it up a bit like the commentary voiceovers (which I feel were essential in this case), the video becomes incredibly monotonous. It isn't bad, it was solid for the most part, but with this idea in mind you could've done a lot better.

PK: You really saved the best for last didn't you? This was probably my favorite highlight from the whole competition. It's not full of crazy effects or anything flashy, but it's a very fun video to watch. Maybe it's cause of how well you paced the video, from it going slow, and then fast as the song picks up in the last minutes of the video. And the clip selection was fantastic. I like how you showed almost every move of the match instead of just the big moves. It's a great way to build the highlight to something more chaotic at the end. I do love the little effects you added throughout the video though, like the orange sparkle transition that was also used in your other video from the 3 stages of highlights match. And the film effect was a nice touch. And the orange saturated/freeze frame sequences was well done. It resembles the ones from the Black Tiger V Pegasus video. It's kind of like this was the opposite of that video. I love how you used the white flashes! Usually they seem very generic and boring, but you used it in a way where it feels more epic - and I think the reason for that is cause it's the most flashiest (no pun intended) effect of the video. And it fits the drum cymbals that you synced too. Very fun way to end your series of highlights PK!
pain - I love how your video are related to on another. Not only because they're edited to a song by BMTH, but also cause of the subject choice, Finn/Devitt. And there's some sort of theme or idea that combines all of them. In the first two video we see Devitt lose his matches. And in the third one, he defeats his opponent and wins a title. Kind of shows how far he's come. Although, I wasn't the biggest fan of the editing. I'm surprised to not see the same effects from the last two videos. I thought you would continue the trend of using shutter streaks and the dark negative effect. Instead, I don't even think this video has any effects. And it honestly didn't need any. However, I do think it needed something more like voice overs. The song chosen for this video sounded very dramatic and it had an epic feel to it. I felt like you could have done a better job at showcasing that epic vibe and voice overs could have done the job. It felt a little odd as if something else was needed. Regardless, I still liked the video. I think one appreciates it more after watching the trilogy and seeing how well planned this series was.
One of my favorite matches in FMVC history. It's definitely one that I will remember for a long time! Thank you guys for taking your time to make 3 entertaining videos for the group.
