Three very different videos from the last time <I'm going to start all three opinions in the same way, so no complaints> Stylopz: You made a video very different from the previous one, I like it but I liked the other one more, I like the way you go to b&w it's very pretty. The match does not attract my attention but the edition does its thing, we will meet again. Arguden: This must be the most different and experimental video I saw of you, I love that it lasts four minutes and never breaks, I don't like the filter and the gray transition at first looked good but with the passage of the video it became repetitive, I don't want to meet with you. Omzy: Another video different from the previous one, I am not a big fan of the Taker vs Michaels but this is edited correctly, it works more with the typefaces that you add since the colors and type of font that you used did not match much with the theme of the dead man and the retired and some transitions felt randomly set, but of the three it is the one I like the most and the last part is my favorite. If you continue like this, we will surely meet, although I will have a title on my waist and you don't know.

Stylopz: Very creative highlights, Loved the cuts you chose from Shibata's entrance a perfect example of enhacing a video without doing nothing apart from going with some really cool looking camera shots, you also probably had my favorite CC from this competition that grey looking almost saturated to the fullest looked fantastic it definitely fit with the whole vibe of the video kinda wished you had stayed with that one for the whole video instead of switching with the other one that after looking at the grey one it wasn't the same, that nice little light leak you added was fantastic and a nice touch, finally the song choice was great it felt fresh and not too far away from the usual rock editors use with their videos perfect combination. I didn't like the rose flowers or leaves? I think it took away from the intensity that the video was showing maybe it they were from a different color would've better, other than that this was a fantastic video.
Arguden:It has been awhile since I saw a gaussian blur on a highlight video so this was a nice surprise, loved the whole aesthetic of it, the film grain and those blue transitions were really well done. Nice and subtle highlight that I absolutely enjoyed. The match you used was great and completely original since you don't see too many prime ROH matches been highlighted. I liked that it's long and your editing flatters the match. Nothing but praise man. Great Job.
Omzy: This felt like a really retro highlight like 2013 retro and I love it. from the intro, to the fact you put the promo before the match, song choice and even the watermark of the WWE being blurred everything took me back. It was a nice, correct highlight nothing to flashy or nothing that stands out in particular and that's not necessarily bad, you did a great solid job. You are headed in the right direction and I'm looking forward to see more from you.

stylopz: this was beautiful. i firstly wanna start off by saying within a year the rapid improvement you've shown has blown my mind. it's been banger after banger and this is not different. your editing is already at a high level, so i'll try my best to nitpick the small things that i thought you could improve on to make it even better. my suggestion would be during the slow sections of songs, maybe avoid using shakes. shakes for me have been trial and error for the longest time, even now i'm still trying to figure out the best times to use it and when not to. personally, i like to keep a calm pacing and focus on getting emotion over. however, at the same time i think your twixtor work during the slow part was the right idea. 1:17 the clip kind of doubled back and i assume it was to sync the next beat with the forearm, a small twixtor there with a fade out would've done wonders. 1:21 forearms are my shit right there, i loved that! 2:31 sakura petalls were such a beautiful touch, it especially complimented your cc. 3:05-end ruled so fucking much! overall, it's super impressive how much you've contributed to this competition and again it really blows my mind how both your videos are insanely good. keep up the good work! arguden: dude this was dope! i really liked the presentation of it. the blurred borders were really a nice touch. i do think your lack of motivation shines through in the editing of this, though. like bits of it will feel off sync and other times it's synced. the black and white transitions/cc really seemed like a very random choice, but atleast you kept it consistent throughtout and it made for a nice visual. i do think some fades, twixtor and cutting short some sequences would've helped this a lot. final thoughts on this would be solid video, but i can understand your lack of motivation and your lost passion for wrestling. if you aren't passionate about what you're editing, it doesn't come across to the audience either. Omzy: i'd like to praise this for the different route that this took, but essentially what you did was just use the first half of the video to just recap the video package wwe did (right down to the voiceovers with bg music). like if you put in the extra effort of getting the original promo's and footage of that feud and did it all yourself that would've been something to praise. your editing is pretty solid, although i'd suggest using less transitions or at the very least keep it to one or two transitions that you do consistently throughout because the constant change of transition really hurt the flow and overall presentation of the video for me. the voiceovers could use some work too, the audio levels on them were too high. lowering the music would've been the better option in that regard. i feel like i've mentioned a lot of negatives in this feedback, but there is also a lot of upside to this. i enjoyed your editing, the sync & pace and also the text work was really creative. would love to see more from you in the future, this was cool.
edit: so, i just found out that this was omzy's 5th video he's done, which is insane to me. it's crazy how good the editing is for someone that's only made 4 video's before this, so you should be really proud of what you made here. i was leaving feedback to you as if you had been editing for a year at least, keep up the good work.

This is a very close match since the three of them made incredible videos. Stylopz: By God I am fascinated by the way in which the cuts in your videos look so smooth it is something wonderful to see, I loved how you connected the blows of both Shibata and Tanahashi with that effect, they looked more devastating than they already are and I can't stop admiring the evolution you have had since you started until now, I still remember your highlight of Golden Lovers vs Chaos which was the one I met you with and is one of my favorite videos of yours. Without a doubt you are one of the best editors today, both in highlights and MV, I hope to continue seeing these works so sweet and surprising, incredible work Stylopzy.
Arguden: I was surprised with your choice of match, I have never seen this match so your video helped me a lot, I loved the transitions you used were very relaxing in contrast to the euphoria of the match which is great. It is probably the most satisfying highlight that I saw in a long time, it is wonderful that although the song was soft it did not feel slow at all, you knew how to play well with the moments and the speed of the match, without a doubt I want to see more of this and I hope to see soon more of you Arguden.
Omzy: How much more are you going to improve with each video Omzy? I love that you made a video of my favorite rivalry and since I am a big fan of HBK this amazes me,I really liked the texts you used (I would have put a warmer color on it but that's fine) and also the way you followed the song, synchronizing everything very well. From what I see you are a very fan of WWE but I would love to see you edit something from NJ or another company, if you want obviously, wonderful video Omzy.
Congratulations to all three for the incredible videos

Arguden: Quite unique highlights here. It's sad you you are not doing more of these at the moment, but I understand, motivation is not easy to have. I loved the song choice obviously and the grainy look justs suits beautifully to the gritty sound of Korn. I loved the blurred borders; it really reminds me of those old school highlights and it's just very fitting and honestly I think this is the most different highlight I've seen in a while and I loved that. The recap was done quite well, editing was clean and smooth as always, although maybe I would've cut the song 1 minute short, I really loved the monotony of this video, really suits the whole vibe of the match. The CC choices are up with you, you never miss them and it's just an overall pleasure to watch. Freaking awesome stuff, my man.
Omzy: You have been editing for like less what? Less than a year? And you already are making videos of the level of stuff that took me quite a bit to do. You have a great future ahead of you, Omzy. I do think you need to work on few things to step up your game, like I feel like you are still stuck in editing like it's a transition fest and you really need to sync everything, and technically that's fine, I guess that using so many swish pan transitions in quick cuts is just not my cup of tea but it's all good I think it's a matter of time until you see it. Overall I think color correction is quite nice looking, quite reminds me of WNB's style of color correction. Speaking of WNB, I think a promo made by yourself would've been a way better build up and to be fair it's odd editing an already edited video like when people did this WNBish style of build up(myself included). Shakes of when Ivan screamed "closer to the end" were ok, but kind of was a little too aggressive and maybe don't play too much with amplitude, I'd rather incrase the motion blur along the frequency to some 27 level or whatever, other than that, I thought this was a damn good video. I expect in a year you as the best highlighter of the forum and community overall.
This was fun guys, I thought you guys brought up your best to the table. Maybe next time another match? Amazing match guys!

Okay time to leave feedback to something I so didn't want to do because of just so fantastic videos.
Stylopz: Ah I wonder who used this song... You are already a master of storytelling, I am pretty sure that everyone will agree with that. You did similar to what I tried to do in my highlight but you did it much better than I did, it felt like a very intense intro, especially "It's too late" part while Tanahashi is walking next to Shibata, you can literally cut atmosphere with a knife. Loved the beginning and how it starts with them punching each other while things slow down. That slow part was majestical and you literally could feel the hate they have for each other and how personal battle is, I especially loved twitch effect. During chorus I loved so much punches sync with a beat, it was such a creative choice! Idk if CC after the chorus was different than previous but damn it looked so good! Impact on Tanahashi's rolling senton, it was a nice shift from slower more facial expressions part to faster paced more wrestling part. This change was my favorite part of the video, from Tanahashi's look during "And I am still here" where you can see him still feeling grudge towards Shibata for leaving NJPW when they needed him and then it shifting to Shibata so violently beating him up from frustration how Tanahashi is still being like that towards him. And then how from their brawling to wrestling, video changes to that beautiful overlay which just shows even tho they hate each other, there is still that magic that they have vs each other even since young lion days! Really love how your every look and pace change goes perfectly with a match. And what a beautiful and emotional slow motion ending and that emphasis on them hugging each other, Tanahashi standing alone on top was such a beautiful ending choice because he is now the only important one. Terrific work Lopzy!!
Argi: Interesting match choice, I really didn't expect to see this but it's really nice to see variety. I liked that film affect with shades of black and white, it gave that edit with that match retro effect which is very charming in it's own way. I wonder why is aspect ratio is that odd, seems like 4:3 but kinda squished so I wonder what the deal about it is, tho it has blurred background so it's not a big deal, just very interesting. This song honestly isn't that much my thing, I like it but I don't think it fits a highlight tbh. It's very monotone, has no highs or lows so entire video is going on constant pace and nothing really stands out. Tho when it comes to editing this is as good as it gets on technical side. Your sync is terrific, video looks and feels professional through the entire thing and everything flows really nicely. You managed to make 4 and something minutes long monotone edit actually fun to watch and I had very enjoyable time. Sucks to hear that you don't feel motivated to edit as much anymore but that's okay, take as much time as you need until you get that feeling back. You are an amazing editor and can't wait to see you posting bangers as usual again!
Omzy: Man how are you this good? I swear you should make that "how to bee a fantastic editor in a month" tutorial because many need it. Every time you upload a video I am just amazed and a bit jealous because I here spent years to improve and you are already this good so fast! First of all I love the presentation, it feels like it's from WWE DVD or something, has very professional feeling. Handling of promo was so good, you chose perfect audio clips and edited this promo in such a way that it felt like it was your creation instead of you using WWE promo to tell the story for you. Beginning was so good and love that desaturation while Shawn was taunting Taker. Ngl I am not that big fan of this song usually but it was a perfect choice for this match. Transitions between matches were so well done, all of them felt so natural and at no point did I feel lost, you structured the entire edit very good. My only advice is that you don't have to use this many transitions, especially those slides. Your sync is terrific but you don't have to focus on every single beat because some moves suffered from it, like old skool or leg drop just got skipped. Sometimes you can slow down things and ignore beats to show what you want to show, just try not to go too crazy on transitions. I love how you finished their WM 25 match so you could focus on WM 26 when song slowed down. Parts when you used text and showed Shawn literally cornered in his mind because he knows that this could be his end and screen getting darker during pinfall after Sweet Chin Music were my favorite parts. Also amazing choice when to include commentary, moment when he say "If I can't beat you at Wrestlemania, I have no career" was literally perfect. Overall mindblowing edit, I REALLY can't wait to see what more you will do and I am so proud of you!!
Wonderful job by all 3 of you and you already made Rewind Championship look like million bucks with this final!

stylopz: What people say about you is true; you truly have become one of the best highlighters around (and MV editors too but that's irrelevant in this discussion). One of the biggest features of this video is its atmosphere mixed with storytelling elements like that intense intro, or that "I am still here" part that I loved. I can't say there is a part of the video I didn't like, but those are the things I liked the most. Keep it up my dude, you are killing it.
Argi: As probably all the other people here, I was really surprised with your match choice. It isn't a bad thing tho, I really like that you brought something different from the usual. I thought that the song choice you went for was also different from the norm, but you really made it work and then some with the look and vibe you created. I think I don't have to praise editing specifically, you did all the right things with sync and effects as always. I did feel the length a bit near the end as it becomes monotonous at times, but that isn't a major complaint. Great job.
Omzy: I still don't believe you have been editing for this small amount of time and this is your 4th or 5th edit, I think you have been fooling us all lmao. I won't repeat any more of the praise everybody has given to you (with every right though), I will just state some negatives that were visible in my opinion. You used too many transitions for my taste and it hurt the flow a bit. Another thing you should work on is the volume of the voiceovers, some of them were too loud and lowering the sound volume a little while also not making the voiceovers that loud would help a lot. The video was really good, but you should (and I'm pretty sure you will) fix those things.

Stylopz: Ah man, what's the point of giving you any feedback. At this point I'm just praising you and not really giving you any critique. This video is flawless. There's literally no complaints. Everything about it is perfect. First off, your CC is getting a lot better, even though it was always good, the CC for this video really matches the majestic vibe you were going for. And that Black and white CC was just so stunning! I see that your brought those pink rosebuds. They were also from your Ibushi V Tana video right? I'm assuming that there's some sort of message with the rosebuds, or maybe I'm just over thinking about it. Your effects are a lot smoother and cleaner. I mean you were always good with the effects, but as of recently they've seen more well executed and they don't have a slight amateurish look like they used too. Such as the shake effect which was well used. Also, big fan of your song choice. "Sakura blues" fits well with Shibata's wrestling career since he had his last match in Sakura Genesis. So the song's title really fits. I'm a bit surprised that you decided to covered this match, but I'm so happy you did. This was one of the first NJPW matches that I saw and it's what got me hooked to New Japan back in 2014. I haven't seen a lot of editors recap this match, probably cause it's kind of hard to find in good quality (well it was before). Really glad you made a highlight of this. Oh, and what's your twixtor settings? Cause the clips where you put twixtor on them looked very beautiful!
Arguden: Another surprise from this match. Did not expect to see a recap of an old ROH match. This might just be your most different video yet. Even the whole presentation of the video is a bit odd from a usual Argi video. Like the format of the name which has a file name. It doesn't make a difference to the video, but I thought it looked cool lol. This is another video from this event where effects aren't really used as excessively as before. One thing that makes you one of my favorite editors is the ability to make your videos have a very high quality and clean look to them. It never looks sloppy or rushed; it has a professional feel to them, somewhat like PK's videos. I was a fan of the desaturated look mixed with the film effect. Was it just me or was the film effect only on the transparent bars on the side? If so, then that's a great way to make the sides look attracting rather than boring. Loved the dissolves throughout the video. They weren't anything fancy but it still made the video very easy to follow and look good with the way you put everything together. Hope we can have a match together in the future once you find motivation. Would really love to be in a match with you.
Omzy: Probably the most ambitious video of the competition. Love the way you combined both of their WrestleMania matches while still mainly focusing on their second match. Showing their WM25 match in a non linear format was a great way to show how much it meant for Shawn to want to beat Undertaker. It also provides a lot more suspense and it leaves the viewer on their toes. Especially that last minute of the video. Including the voice overs at the end definitely made it more dramatic. Although, I recommend working on lowering the volume on your voice overs just a bit so they don't sound too distorted. And the way you structured all of this was magnificent. Does a good job at building to the climax of the video. Good work on the promo as well. Even though I'm a bit nitpicky when it comes to using the promo voice overs cause of the background music, in this case it worked very well. And the text was so lovely! Especially that 17-0/17-1 text near the end. That was very unique and it looked fantastic. It's crazy how much you experiment even though you're fairly new. You kind of remind of Stylopz when he was first beginning to edit. You have a very ambitious and creative style, which I love a ton! Only things I recommend working on is your voice overs and tightening up the sync a bit. Especially when using the cookie cutter/aspect ratio change when the video frame gets smaller. I would have synced those sequences a bit better. Eventually you'll polish your edits as you edit more and notices what might not look too attractive to the eye. As of now tho, you're doing fantastic!
This was a show stealer and MOTYC. Good work to the three of you!
