Well we've been waiting for this so I hope it's worth it Storm: They created too much expectation for this and I do not see much difference with other videos of Tetsuya Naito, I notice a small error at 0:15 with the audio, but it is not noticeable much above the rest from the middle of the video I completely lost the interest, but it's not your fault bro just think about it Tetsuya wins the title in WK and then loses it and wins it again... FUCKING BULLSHIT !!! Anyway I would have finished in the Okada vs Naito but good video bro. Stylopz: You're not really interested but I'm a big fan of the band, well we have Ibushi hitting and getting hit with the little storyline of The Golden Lovers in a corner, it's well done bro, I like it and I would see it again but I'm intrigued to know if the the end was it purpose for us to see Kota's butt? P1: We were waiting for days for this and honestly you should lose the title in this event, basically it took you to make a highlight of each match of these two skipping important parts like Ospreay winning the BOSJ and then facing Lee, I did not like the speed effects at all they don't go with the rhythm of the video. Neither the slow effects of 1:48 although after Hiromu vs Will in New Beginning the video starts to get good but I was expecting more for so much waiting.
Forgot to add that I liked the Storm transitions

skipping important parts like Ospreay winning the BOSJ and then facing Lee Just to make this clear, I did show him celebrating the BOSJ win and beating Lee, but I didn't show Shingo because I didn't have much space and chose to show BUSHI instead, it's purpose was to set up the Hiromu match and Shingo was never really a junior, so in hindsight it isn't really the important junior win. That's the same reason why I didn't show him beating Ibushi for the NEVER title; the video is about the battle for the ace of the Junior division.

Now a real editor artist will give you a proper feedback! First of all thank you guys so much for agreeing to do this dream match, it's been my wish for a long time to do this and I am so glad that I used my championship match chance for this. You both are probably the best editors that FMVC has to offer!
P1: Ah this intro was typical P1 vibe, really reminded me of your new era MV. Love how you started the build up, showing Ospreay being down about his loss and Hiromu celebrating his first title victory vs the same man. It was a perfect opening and showing the mindset of the first match, Ospreay being really determined to win so he could challenge for the belt and Hiromu being nonchalant. I swear I am jealous of your crossfades, they are so seamless while I always found mine being too noticeable. What I always found so special about you was your crossfades was how second clip would always have some motion and it would never feel static but always very dynamic and good looking, I always wanted to be able to do my cuts as dynamic as you! I have a little complaint about this part and that's voice over being a tiny bit too loud so it kinda catches you off guard but overall it's a really good introduction! This next part is honestly probably my favorite, just showing them side by side both not being able to defeat Kushida, punch and finger breaking parts were hilarious because they literally showed Hiromu being pushed out of championship match even tho he was really trying. Awesome choice for including them! Another really good choice was choosing just moments including Hiromu and Ospreay in that fatal 4 way match and showing Hiromu leaving while Ospreay was with the belt, honestly I had no idea there was a shot of him leaving! Editing of their 2nd match was so clean and easy to follow, everything had that smooth flow and idk why but slow motion moments just got me, they were so beautiful alongside the song! Split screen section was fabulous, you made edges so smooth that in most of clips I couldn't tell where the cut was, really nice way to show build up towards their staredown! I am so happy that you edited this match in a different way than their new beginning match and that you showed it as energetic and explosive as it truly was! At first I was a bit confused why would you do crops but now I really like them, they made me pay attention to the moves more and they were pretty cool and unique! Ah man this part hit me right in the feels! That moment when lights turned off was so synced and beautiful! This time voice over was spot on so I guess first one was out of your control. Last match probably was my favorite of all matches, you just made it so intense and dramatic! Really fast paced and so fun to watch, I loved especially facial expressions and commentary in the last section of the match because it was perfectly showing those dramatic moments! Ending was so sweet and perfectly fitting. So overall I think that song choice was amazing because it fit that friendly vibe of their feud. This edit is such a fun time to watch what is of course typical for you, editing as always was so clean and seamless, when everything came together it was just such a sweet combination. Honestly it was worth waiting for it longer than usual, thank you for not giving up when you lost this match and still finishing this so our dream match could happen!
Stylopz: Kota Ibushi music video? Anyone surprised??? Ah that beginning hit me right into feels with the tone of his voice and Kenny slowly disappearing, amazing attention to detail! Then video hits as hard as song's pace change, my favorite transition was that standing moonsault from Jay to Okada, I am honestly jealous that I never made any of my move links so pretty! Honestly this part is so well synced and choice of moves (which were all so hard hitting helped it a lot), move links were so insane like all of them caught me off guard because of the positioning and how smooth the changes happened, just wow! This part just has amazing lyrical sync like "My time is gone today" part or "You flirt with suicide" one, honestly I could point out all of them because they are so good that there isn't really one that's standing out! Frames of Ibushi bleeding are so good looking yet terrifying! Next hard hitting section had interesting twist because it had more focus on fyling moves than hard hitting ones unlike the first ones which gives it nice variety, my favorite one this time was that piledriver from Okada going to White, again just so incredibly clean! Second section with facial expressions shows him more defeated than just empty like first one, this one had way less character in him and just sadness with amazing clip choices which subtly just show him becoming numb. I would say honestly this was my favorite section, not because I hate Ibushi or something lol but because how beautiful you made this to be, because of again amazing clip choices I could not only feel every hit but I could also feel emotion in his eyes after he was beaten down. You know that I am a sucker for Golden Lovers stuff so this was something that I absolutely enjoyed! Not only that he has struggles in his career but also in his private life because of his best friend leaving him and this was done so subtly with song complementing it that it felt kinda chilly. Great structure that you put champions after this and him being down because it shows not only that he is broken but lonely because his best friend and partner left him and he can't make it without him, loved that Kenny was the last person you showed right before he snapped! This section was sooooo hard hitting, I literally could feel his punches and kicks, especially ones to Kenny and Nakamura! Your sync was just on point here and with beautiful effects like subtle flashes or desaturation! Ending is very interesting because it shows him kicking Okada in the face and slowly getting up which could mean that he is getting outside of his mental cage and sadness and getting up to finally achieve his dream of being IWGP heavyweight champion just like his lover. WOW what a video, I watched it so many times I can't even count! Honestly I am so damn proud of you, this can't be the same guy who I was helping out with how to use Vegas 2 years ago, just like Ibushi you have become a GOD of FightMVClub and honestly with this, you won my current favorite editor spot, I really can't wait to see what you will upload next!
Just fantastic videos by both of you, with every event you are continuing to prove that you are one of the and if not the best editors that this forum and overall wrestling editing has to offer! This event not only you delivered but exceeded the expectations and honestly not matter the result you both are winners, I am honestly feeling like a winner just by taking part in this. Thank you so much for trying so hard to make this match what I wanted it to be, love you guys!

I call this meeting "the match of the heart attack" 3 Good Videos and 3 Good Editors
Stiloz: I recently discovered Korn and I remember hearing a song from them when I was a kid, thanks for that, a good edit and those flashbacks are legendary
Q3: A very good video, I liked the song choice
Storm: A very good video, your flashbacks were just as good as Stiloz's, I can't decide on both I liked that you told the whole story of Naito and Evil
my vote for this 5 star match goes to Storm

MOTY confirmed Storm: I had the privilege of seeing how this incredible video was being built and being able to appreciate how it finally turned out is simply wonderful, I really like how you used the background voices with that little echo effect, they give a more personal touch to all this that I think is what you wanted to convey and what the video focuses on. I think the video makes more sense knowing that you are a big fan of Tetsuya Naito and that you are in every detail to tell his story well and how the events in his life unfold, I loved how you played with the clips at the time of making a transition, for example with the IWGP Intercontinental championship or the clip of Evil that changes to when he was already a double champion was very well achieved. As I told you a few days ago, remembering your first video on this site and now seeing how you have progressed incredibly is super motivating, without a doubt this is a candidate for video and editor of the year, you simply gave us a video to remember.
Stylopz: And speaking of improvements, we got to the editor with an incredible improvement in such a short time, it is incredible how you proved to be at the height of Storm, P1 and many other editors, the nickname of The Chosen One suits you very well. What to say about your video, it's crazy from start to finish, that beautiful contrast between the calm Kota with the change to when it gets violent is magnificent, it seemed to me that all the clips were on because they had to be there and you represented that aura well that Ibushi has every time he steps into the ring and tells a story. I loved the little reminders of his broken friendship with Kenny that makes a lot of difference, and as the edit is phenomenal in every way, one of the favorite videos from this event, Great Job Stylopzy.
P1: Long ago I did not see a video of a rivalry between two wrestlers, this was extremely beautiful and sweet, I find it curious to see your videos about AEW and that out of nowhere you appear with this, it is something incredible to tell the truth, it was fun that you put when Hiromu He tried to protect himself from others and as in the Fatal 4 Way you directed all the attention to the protagonists of the video. I was not aware that they had also faced each other in the BOSJ that was something curious, I love how you take your videos to an emotional side but not sad but more emotional, or at least that's how I see it, I can't wait to see what other videos will come from you, a magnificent MV from the champion of the site.

Main event, 3 of the best editors about, 3 enjoyable edits and i can't wait to see who comes out on top, either man deserves it. As always, I'm new to NJPW so bare with me
P1: I've watched almost all your edits, you are without a doubt my biggest inspiration and I've made that clear to you.Good cc, good timing, you know your craft better than no one else, slowing down then speeding up clips, commentary voiceovers all great stuff. I will nitpick and suggest there be more promos/voiceovers than just match after match to help built the story up that much more, but you did a great job nonetheless.
Stylopz: My opponent...I would not be surprised to see you leave with 2 belts, and as someone so new, I'm honoured to compete against someone like you. Everyone here is saying you have made massive improvements, I didn't see much of your prior work but you clearly deserve to be champ and you have come a long way. Video wise: love the contrasts between the violent wrestler Kota can be, and the beaten up man he is within, i love an edit that tells a story and Kota is one of the most interesting characters to explore. Definitely enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing to watch
Stormzy: I knew from when you showed me a preview of this it would be phenomenal. I loved the song choice, and cc to match, your transitions and effects here are really what take this above and beyond, i especially like your scale transitions, your masking has also improved so good job! The sync here is fantastic, there's not much for me to nitpick except that I would have liked some parts to be more cut up and quicker paced during the matches, but your callbacks served that well enough for now.

P1: I like how fresh this feels, usually wrestling editors try to bring out intensity and seriousness to the edits (Which is great) but sometimes is great to take a look into a different territory and you did that, this was really a fun watch. I like Taylor Swift and I when I heard the first chords of the song I couldn't believe you went with that song. Fantastic Choice (Also a deep cut). At first I thought this was a match recap disguised as a MV but it wasn't it really capture the journey that Os went through and it made me care about it. You hit the perfect combination between fun/chill and emotional. Loved the two screens effect around the 2:06 mark. This genuinely felt like those movie montage when 2 persons go separate ways and they show what have they been up to since they separated. I do believe a better lut and maybe a crop effect would have been better. Just to add to the aesthetic and maybe add an extra layer to the atmosphere you created wonderfully.
Stylopz: 4:20? I like your style mate. This was great as someone who deeply cares about Luts I think you have the best ones I have seen in a while, your little pop up effects were on point, the voice overs were nice and this was also a fun watch. Your topic and song choice were fantastic and I loved the idea of adding the bit when everyone is kicking Ibushi. Also I like someone who knows his NJPW history and not only focuses on the times of Omega, Ibushi, White etc. Loved the little shootouts to AJ and Naka added way more to the story and the journey you showcased.
Storm: This was dramatic!. You did a fantastic job showing Naito's desperation and general darkness, the song was so powerful and it took the video to the next level, you did such a good job on the build up that the payoff felt fantastic, it felt cathartic and emotional when Naito won the whole thing. Loved the final shots of him alongside the fireworks. Wonderful Job.
Fantastic Job guys it was really hard to come up with a decision and it's a shame that one has to "win" this haha. Great Match.

Storm: Well, I had the pleasure to watch this being in the makings and I'm glad I was able to see this when before it came out, and the only thing I can say is that this is one of the best music videos of the year, truly a spectacle. The chronogical order of match recap might come off as a bit blend, but you made it look like a damn story all the way through, not gonna lie, if this was the video NJPW wanted to upload to showcase Naito's path until he becomes Double Champ and then regains the titles after being betrayed by his former LIJ member EVIL,this would get a lot more praise than ever, this had everything you wanna watch watch from a path standpoint. Obviously the song complemented the path of Naito finally reaching his Destiny, and this felt a lot more ambitious and just made Naito look like a million bucks than any other Naito music video I've ever seen, (okay maybe our trios video is 2nd). It's impressive how you edited the storylines of Naito seemlessly without really having to sacrifice lenght of the video and keeping all the way through. The lyrical syncing was also on point, you made for sure to structure anything in order to not lose chronological order. "Don't wait for the dust to settle" really fucking describes Naito's ambition to get what he is after, as "the both of us" bits. It's all very pleasing and aesthetic to watch, the effects and color corrections were beautiful and I especially loved the color correction in the Okada match recap. I forgot to say your voiceover work was the best one I've seen from you it was neat, that echo like after the commentary one was icing on the cake. Loved how you showcased EVIL's storyline, how he betrayed, Naito to their first match, in which IMO you made it look great so kudos for that. All this bulding to the last match, which like PK said it truly felt cathartic like the biggest ever just happened, and the twixtor work at final bits like Valencia, Destino and last 3 count was sooooo dramatic. You could feel every bit of emotion when Naito won and ending with fireworks was icing on the cake. The EVIL flashbackes at the recap wof course was my favorite thing about the video, loved how you really enhanced how EVIL who was the first there for Naito ended up fucking him over. This just proves how you are the biggest Naito fan anyone has seen and also that nobody sees wrestling the way you. I am amazed how every single time, you step up your game and honestly I am just happy you got to this point. This is a fucking mastepiece.
P1: This was amazing, as expected from you. I think I had never a seen Hiromu vs Ospreay feud recap made like this before honestly so I am glad you were able to make it for our match and honestly you knocked it off the park. The masking intro was so dope and I loved the inverted color effect background. Going from their first match to their last match felt so ambitious and I loved that you managed to give a proper time for the first match recap. I think you nailed the Kushida parallels beautifully, if you think about it, it's so important to tell a non NJPW fan watching the video for the first time, how Kushida was the unbeatable ace and showcasing Hiromu beating him while Ospreay couldn't was really important. The recaps of the fatal 4 way and New Beginnig matches were all very on point and I loved the slow motion section, it truly looked beautiful! The split screen looked so smooth and it really built the Dominion match showcasing both men's big matches before encountering another time. I loved the staredown after BOSJ finals to actual Dominion match with those flickering clips. Match recap was awesome all the way through. Showing Hiromu getting dropped in the head to then being forced to relinquish the Jrs title was all well done. Then when Ospreay finally won the tournament, and Jrs. back again idk exactly what you did I liked that arena lights out at 3:12 that shit was on point. So the little Hiromu promo, to the the match it was all greatly done and you did wonderfully the WK match recap and the add up of voiceovers were icing on the cake. Only complain I have was those speeded up clips, didn't feel like matched the slow pace of the song. Other than, this was another banger from you, my man.
This was IMO one of the best matches I've seen, and to be fair it's the best match I've been in. You both guys killed it with everything you got and for whoever wins, good luck for the next person because that will be a tough ass task to do. I remember Sarcastic saying this match wouldve been the best Next Gen match he'd seen in a long time, but to be fair, this is worthy of a true main event like this was. Thank you for the match guys, love you both my bois!

P1: I love this a lot! Not as familiar with your work as I am with your opponents, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Never expected T-Swizzle to work on a music video, much less one from NJ but the vibes just hit in here. Found myself hooked match after match seeing this rivalry play build up, and its great how you played up on previous exchanges as we see how Willy and Hiromy adapt to their opponents' moves and evolve each time. The split screen worked a few times, thought I wish you feathered them a bit more or went with a solid black line down the middle. Big fan of the crop squares in the middle, and I would even suggest making those look even more frantic by adjusting them further apart. My favorite part of the video was the return of the time bomb and loved the build of it with the screen going black while Ospy was celebrating. Loved the inclusions of the voiceover and it worked especially nice in their final bout. The sped up clips felt off at times, so I would work on those a bit, but you definitely have the right idea. While this video felt rough around the edges on the technical side, you more than made up for it with your overall vision of this video. You got yourself a new fan!
Stylopz: Oh man! Was wondering how you would follow up your acclaimed Tomo video, and this did not disappoint. Your structuring was on point with this one, and even gave me a new perspective when doing wrestler vids. In the first 30 seconds, you hit us with a ton of Kota's moveset and got a lot of that out of the way to focus on Kota's character and how his lonesomeness has affected and drives his whole arc. As with your previous video, never would I have thought DMX and Ishii would fit like a puzzle and same goes for Kota and KoRn. But man, the verses alone gives us everything we need to know in understanding Kota's story of being alone, getting beaten to the ground mentally and physically, and finally finding it within himself to overcome all that. "Beating me down" sections were very key in this. The blood HSL's were my favorite thing from this video aesthetically. And what a build you've created, because the slaps into the bomaye was such a beautiful and rewarding payoff to seeing Kota getting trashed for most of the video. This is how you make a wrestler video! Have I told you you're my favorite editor atm?
Storm: Sorry if I told you there were too many Naito mv's. It's an absurd statement I now realize, because you can never have enough of them. But any future Naito mv's will never touch this video. Damn near perfection. Everything here was well thought out and carefully and precisely executed. Love how each opponent/match had a specific theme for telling Naito's story, from redemption with Jay, overcoming the odds against Kazu, and betrayal from his closest friend in EVIL. Kazu section was crazy, loved the callbacks to their previous encounters. EVIL section was amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. That rat! The way you let those flashbacks play out when they were all buds just added to him eventually winning back the titles at Jingu, brilliant. You openly say that Jingu is your favorite match of all time, and its a lot clearer to understand way now. I mentioned this you privately in between card game talk, but let it be known publicly that Storm is the GOD of transitions. I know this is a video about Naito, but I gotta say those shots of EVIL with the belts are so GODLY. Get started on an EVIL saga ASAP.
One hell of a match fellas. MATCH OF THE YEAR! 11 STARS!

P1: The more I watch this video, the more I admire it and find it to be adorable. It might be because the rivalry between the two is built on having some of the best matches in the jr division while at the same time their bond seems to be cute in some way lol. And the song you picked matches that "cute" vibe I get from them. Didnt even know this was a Taylor Swift song at first btw hehe. It's cool that you used a song from her since tbats pretty rare to see unless it's a diva edit. Editing wise I thought this was pretty cool. I liked the split screen. I also find the inverted effect/masking to look sick! Kind of reminded me of that New Era video you made last year. I really loved the cookie cutter effect during their Dominion match! The sequence looked awesome, even tho I found the effect to be a bit unnecessary. I still liked seeing the effect regardless. I would recommend working on the voice overs a bit tho. I like how they were spread out, but I would lower the volume just a bit so they dont sound too loud. It's cool how quick you were able to recap each match of theirs. It resembles the quick style from them both. I was highly entertained for the full 4 minutes and a half.
Stylopz: I'm lost for words. This has to be the best video I've seen all year. Its definitely up there with it being one of the best videos in FMVC. I would probably say top 3. Theres been a shit ton of Ibushi videos as of lately, but this one is by far the most unique. Most Ibushi videos go into detail about his storyline with Omega, or his feud with Naito and Okada. But yours focuses more on his long ass journey on winning the IWGP heavyweight championship while failing to do so after being so close to actually winning it. And throughout this journey he suffers so much that it's so hard to not feel sympathy for Ibushi. Like how can you not feel bad that he hasn't won the gold after being betrayed by his partner (TWICE), fails to win the G1, wins it the next year but loses at WK in a double gold dash mini tournament(or whatever it was lol), and gets beaten the next night by a a man who used to get horny from knives. ITS JUST NOT FAIR. If New Japan wants everyone to cheer for Ibushi when he wins the championship at WK, this is the video to show to its viewers. Just looking at this video shows how much Ibushi suffered to get where hes at. Definitely your best edited video. Like I mentioned in your recap, your edits are getting much more clean; meaning that your executing your effects perfectly, all the basics are well executed, and you're not overdoing or exaggerating when it comes to effects or picking clips that wouldn't benefit to the video. It seems like every clip in here has a meaning. Btw, I love that sync with Ibushi falling in the ring and the lyric being "ground". And the tone and mood of this feels like no other video. Its eerie and just so damn scary. Dont know why but that last clip of Ibushis sitting on the ground with his back turned on us, and the light shining bright to the camera is chilling. It looks as if Ibushi feels defeated and tired and isnt confident to even look at us. Also, the slow white flash was a great add on to the video. And dont get me started with the structure, cause it was so damn good. The non linear structure was unique. I love how it's not really about Ibushi looking to reach his goal towards the end of the video, but Ibushi is literally trying to reach his goal in various parts of the video. And theres just a shit ton of obstacles stopping him. Bravo Stylopz! This is absolutely marvelous.
Storm: I cant believe this! It's unbelievable how you were able to create so many outstanding and differently made Naito videos in the past 3 months. They all have a unique story to them. The last Naito video you made along with your competitors was more about Naitos journey to capturing the gold at the WK main event, while this was more about having his success story finish off the right way. Cause let's face it, this year was shitty and unlucky to Naito's reign. And then he lost to EVIL in his second defense after being betrayed by him. So if you think about it, him beating EVIL was like his happy ending to an old book. He was able to ok overcome all the obstacles that were quickly coming his way for the past decade. I think my favorite thing that you do with these Naito videos is have a whole entire different structure from others. Editors tend to try to focus 9n every single match that relates to the subject of their video, but you focus on the important match and key details of Naitos journey in the past year or 2. Instead of wasting time, you yet straight to the point and every se ccx tion of the video matters making the viewers time more important. The viewer really learns a lot about your subject just by watching your videos. These types of videos go so well with today's generation since we tend to have a short time span. Jeez, I think I've said this plenty of times but Icant stress this enough; your seamless transitions are godly! They're so damn smooth and gets the viewers attention. It also helps the story flow nicely. And the CC... my lord! It always looks so majestic and has a grand feel to it. Another favorite part of mine is how you use the different angles from the Okada match at WK14. They make the video look more dramatic and it's always fun to look at footage from different angles. This is so impressive Stormy. Easily one of the best videos of the year as well!
Yeah this possibly the best match in FMVC and probably the best match ever lol. Thank you guys for your incredible effort!

First of all I'm not home and I don't have much free time, so I'm sorry if this is a bit short.
P1: This video made me feel like it's 2018. You recapped their feud in a wonderful way, with an interesting song choice. When I first saw the video I went to the description and saw Taylor Swift, I was fucking surprised but it worked perfectly! Your editing was great as always. I'm not a huge fan of some speed-ups and that's all. Awesome work.
Stylopz: Man, this was fucking incredible. Korn is one of my favourite bands and I am so glad that this competition had two videos with them. But the main reason I loved the song choice is because of the chorus. Jonathan Davis singing "Beating me down" while Ibushi getting knocked out.. I really don't know what to add man, this is your best work and it's one of the best videos on this forum. Amazing stuff.
Storm: Simply majestic! This video was one of the best MVs I've seen this year, everything was on point, especially the song choice and the storytelling. You did your thing and showcased Naito's journey perfectly, I really don't have any complaints except the glow transitions and that's just because it's not my thing. Wonderful work Storm.
