Chari: This at the first glance reminded me of my video that I made last year about them but you went in the entirely different direction lol. This was built so well, I really loved how you played with their facial expressions and combined them so it felt like they had the same thing going through their heads. Heart breaking lyrical sync was a very nice way to use it as a bridge to change towards their big matches, I really liked it. You surprised me with how well you built one very complex section, it's very hard to show 2 different matches at once without making viewer lost, but here you did it so well and it was very easy to follow. I honestly really loved this and it's one of my favorites works by you, if not even my favorite! Such a sweet and fun music video! Wonderful work!

Thought this was going to be Better Now from Post Malone
This was fun!, even though in the past couple of years we have seen Golden Lovers edits over and over again you managed to make something that hits differently, very creative use of the facial expressions and a song that blends well with the video, also it's impressive how you managed to get some really cool moments given the fact that you only used two matches, loved the minimalistic approach you took and it felt extremely fun. Those extremely underrated lyrics before the big chorus around the :47 mark have definetely become a part of your editing. I thinks it's great and something that people should use more.
Prolly my only criticism would be the fact that the quality of the footage changes and it messes with the whole vibe of the video, the effect from the :47 it's in a fantastic quality and then the Ibushi match has a different one, and the Mox vs Omega match it's not in a great quality.
Maybe adding a nice CC would enhance the video. Other than that this was a hoot.
Great Job Mate.

It is really a big game changer when you take a completely different direction towards a subject that has been touched so much by so many people and you did that extremely well, so this vídeo comes off to me as something that I havent seen before and really fresh when its really not. The start with the slow up build up on how both Ibushi and Omega were trying so hard to get what they wanted and couldnt was done perfectly well, especially when clips were placed smoothly, I loved it. I also loved the "I'm better off on my own" graphic you did with the broken heart, seemed like a very fitting one for the video. I always love when people recap two different matches seemlessly which was what you did here and obviously the AEW camera changes help you a ton here but still I love how you used such a con turned it into a positive, so kudos for that. I really appreciate you for only using flashbackes of Golden Libers only to motivate the final bits of the vídeo like a "look at where we then and now". Wish you played with NJPW angles as I started to notice after few rewatches how both matches had different paces. Not really much negatives maybe besides what I mentioned, or maybe a better quality vídeo but honestly that's just a very minor nitpick for what's an almost flawless vídeo. I really had a incredibly fun time watching the vídeo and it's one of my favorite videos in this competition given the insane amount of amazing videos in this comp. Amazing work Chari!

The vision you had going into this was a bit risky because when someone wants to fuse together 2 matches into one edit, it often makes things confusing and hard to keep up with, but this was done in a way that was still captivating to me. Again I don't know much about the Golden Lovers, besides that they are two best friends who split up and went their own separate ways, the tone of the song and the overall build up was like a sad love story which I'm all for. That graphic of the broken heart was very thoughtful and innovative, it was well placed and helped build to the climax, so props. The beginning, showing their different expressions and actions was like two sides of a coin because of how similar the things they were going through looked, sadness and sadness, towards the end it was a victory for both of them. My biggest gripe is just the quality of the AEW match, it sort of threw me off how aesthetic the NJ match was and then the Moxley Omega match was a bit worse, when trying to flip flap between videos like this, i think its crucial to have the same aesthetic. Obviously this was probably the best thing you could've gone for, but in this case i would've had the scenes switch not for each move, but for each verse of the song, have the match play for a longer cut before switching so that the changes aren't so drastic, this is just my personal preference. Other than that, I liked your synch, one of the best I've seen so far every move had more of an impact because of that so well done. Overall this was very enjoyable and unique, it was very feel good towards the end with both guys winning the big one of their respective companies, and you built it very well, besides the quality issue which was out of your power, this was a flawless edition.

I repeat in case it is not clear, what is the use of so much synchronization if there is no content? I only saw hits with bad camera cuts and black blinks, please someone stop this guy

This video feels so nostalgic since the song is a classic, thank you for using it I haven't heard it in years lmao. Video was pretty cool, even though its not my first time seeing a Kenny and Ibushi MV it didn't feel boring because you went for a slightly different approach. Editing was cool, nothing crazy which isn't a bad thing at all and it goes on well with the video. Overall this was really enjoyable, I'm always looking forward to your videos since you're an OG. Really good stuff Chari.

I had a bit of doubts when I first saw this since it's a topic that's been covered multiple times - which is the Kota/Omega in different places type of story. However as this video kept going on I was very invested into it. And I think a lot of it has to do with the editing towards the middle and later half of the video. I had mixed feelings about the song since it's been overused a lot, but I thought it was perfect for this story. And I gotta admit, I did sort of saw myself kinda liking this song a lot more as I kept rewatching this. I loved the blu-purpleish CC which contrasted well with both matches and all the media you used. Although, I dont know if it's just my internet connection, but the Omega V Moxley match kinda looked like it was in low quality. Which IMO, theres nothing with low quality media, but I do suggest doing your best to look for the best media there is. Still, that didnt take the fun and enjoyment away from this video. The way you went back and forth between both matches flowed nicely. Never did it feel abrupt. And I also love the connection between the pace of the matches themselves. For example: everytime Kenny was down, you would show Ibushi down and in trouble as well. I really loved that. But what I extremely loved was the little flashback of the golden lovers towards the end of the video. That surprised me for some reason but it was pleasant surprise that I enjoyed very much. But man this song is really perfect for this MV topic. Love those last clips with Kenny and Ibushi holding the title and the last lyrics being "better off on my own". It tells really well the whole story of this one video in 2 clips. Thank you for this beautiful MV Chari!!

Yeah, MVs about Golden Lovers have been done a lot of times to the point I thought nobody can do anything new about those two anymore, but you somehow managed to do it. It was different in a sense that it was basically a recap of their matches against their biggest rivals, Naito and Moxley respectively, and them finally getting what they always wanted but held each other back. That point is made in the beginning of the video, and it's also proven in the end and that was a great storytelling element. Flow was pretty easy to follow and it didn't seem chaotic which was a good thing. If I have to nitpick, I would say that quality of Kenny/Moxley match took away from it a little bit. It was probably a thing you couldn't control though, I know how hard it can be to find a match sometimes. Anyway, great work Chari, you were on fire in this competition.

I liked this one a lot. It was very nice and as others have mentioned, the Golden Lovers story has been told many times. However I enjoyed you approach to this one, especially with them after Omega left New Japan. They both achieved what they wanted for so long but had to break their friendship apart to get it. The song was awesome and I do think that the Moxley vs Omega match looked a bit low quality, but still you managed to pull it off so props. Good job bro!

I really like the videos that combine more matches if they are done well and this video is one of them. The song is a classic and how you combined their facial expresions was so good. Fantastic idea the heart breaking with the lyrics in the beggining. My only regret is the quality, with a higher quality this video would be better than it is already now. Very emotional work Chari! Fantastic Video!
